INTRODUCTION

Designed and laid out on an area of 11 ha (27 acres) of sandy soil, Cabanas Madagabar Resort exists in the deep recess of the rich Hauraruni Jungle, a natural wonder – so serene, peaceful, so breathtaking. A drive from the capital city, up the east bank of Demerara river, over the rolling Soesdyke – Linden hills and through a winding sleepy forest brings one to the Facility.
At Cabanas, the white sandy terrain and reddish coloured water of Hauraruni Springs offer divine fun for the family whether wading, swimming, canoeing, fishing, sun bathing, nature trailing or playing sports.
Discover romance in this idyllic rainforest setting, perfect for honeymoon on the lagoon or just quiet, total relaxation – a getaway from everything.
Cabanas was initiated in January 1998 and today managed by Mr. Fernando and family.

The travelling distance from Central Georgetown to Cabanas Madagabar Resort is 47 km (29 miles).
