As you are aware, UNICEF is one of the United Nations Agencies. As such, it will collaborate its efforts with other UN agencies in issues that are mandated by the United Nations Body. In this respect, the addressing and promoting of measures that will preserve the global environment is one of the UN mandates. Agenda 21 of the Action Plan that came out from the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development recommends such efforts of preserving the environment for the good of all.
UNICEF will be prepared to share any information on the environment with Evergreen Nature Study Club, and wish you every success in your efforts of leading Guyana to a greater appreciation of the environment.
